About Advanced Acupuncture
Transformative Acupuncturist - Michelle Aris
Advanced Acupuncture operates from a clinical space in Ealing, West London.
Founder and advanced acupuncturist Michelle Aris, LLB BSc MBA, has over sixteen years of post-graduate clinical experience and training in Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine acupuncture.
Michelle has practised acupuncture continuously since she completed her Chinese Medicine Acupuncture degree in 2007.
She worked first at a Japanese spa near Bond Street, then at a busy clinic in Waterloo, before establishing herself at her current clinic in Ealing.
After completing a law degree and working in the legal field, Michelle felt inspired to study acupuncture because of her love of Chinese medicine, martial arts, and the theories behind these ancient practices.

Why Visit an Acupuncturist?
Acupuncture works on the same principles as Qi Gong, focusing on breath, mind, and movement to direct the body’s internal energy flow.
Qi Gong has multiple applications, including health, martial arts, and spiritual development. It encourages the connection between mind and body for health, well-being, and balance.
The practice allows acupuncturists to give patients that same clear and balanced energy flow.
Therapeutic acupuncture is delivered in a clinical setting rather than through the physical exercise of Qi Gong, making acupuncture a convenient, comfortable and accessible treatment option.
Generations-Long Knowledge in Acupuncture
Advanced acupuncturist Michelle Aris feels very privileged and profoundly grateful to have accessed her deep knowledge of acupuncture through lectures presented by Dr Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th-generation lineage holder and gifted teacher on all aspects of Chinese Medicine.
As part of her lifelong commitment to developing her practice of advanced acupuncture, Michelle is proud to continue the tradition of apprenticeship within Chinese medicine by completing mentorship programmes with several renowned teachers within Dr Yuen’s lineage: Ann Cecil-Sterman, Sean Tuten, and Dr Hung Tran.
These outstanding teachers strive to preserve the precious gift of Chinese Medicine in its truest form.

She's ver thorough and analytical. She listens carefully before deciding what treatment to choose. Always trys to tackle the underlying issues rather than just dealing with the symptoms. I would highly recommend her to anyone. FARIBA BORHANZADEH7. August, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am new to Acupuncture I have terrible migraines and my best freind suggested I try acupuncture to help with them I have had one migraine more than 30 years that won’t go away. It will ease off a bit but never go completely away. I’ve been on tons of medications and have been monitored by neurologists. I’ve gone to Michelle about ten times now and I’m already beginning to feel much better! I feel the best I have this time! Her office is nice and relaxing and she listens to your problems. She is very professional. I feel with a few more visits, I can definitely be back to my normal once-a-month migraine self! Great place! Amazing knowledge, she takes the time to talk you through, making it a friendly, calming atmosphere. Definitely recommend to anyone Bonny Johal24. If there was ever a law that said I could only write one review for the rest of my life, this is the one I would choose to do. I first came to see Michelle 3 months ago in May. I was a broken and desperate woman. I was in terrible pain as I had been suffering from a nerve condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia, also known as the 'Suicide Disease' as it is known to be the worst pain known to mankind. The drugs I had to take for this painful disease were slowly destroying my body and my spirit. They affected my ability to think, my memory, eye sight, liver function, balance and coordination, all my energy and zest for life. So much so that I decided to have risky surgery. Going to Michelle was my last attempt at a cure. When I went to my first treatment with Michelle I connected with her straight away. She had this incredibly peaceful, calm, healing energy and presence. I resonated with her in a way which surprised me and deep down I knew she would be the one to cure me. Michelle saw me week after week and treated me with such care, love and compassion. It was hard work and we did have a blip, but we perservered and I can now say that I am a very different person. I am pain free and have joy in my life again. She not only healed my physical pain, but also my soul and my spirit and I found 'me' again - funny and vibrant and full of life and looking forward to the rest of my life in a way I thought I never would or could. To say that I would highly recommend Michelle is a gross understatement. You have to trust the process and you will not be disappointed. It really has been a honour to be treated by such a special lady. I would like to take this opportunity the give Michelle a huge, huge thank you. Although I know she will insist that it was all me. Just take it on the chin girl!! David Barrow23. February, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Genuine holistic healing. Michelle is a rare find: she combines her exceptional technical expertise with her natural ability to engage the mental and emotional facets of true care - always at the pace and comfort level of her patient. Health and wellbeing are intrinsically linked - Michelle’s empathy, kindness, and treatments exemplify this. J Bateman22. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle to address knee pain I was experiencing while training for the London Marathon, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Her expertise and personalised approach truly made a difference in my recovery journey. Not only did she alleviate my knee pain, but she also provided valuable insights and guidance on preventing future injuries. Thanks to her care, I am feeling strong and confident. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone seeking effective pain relief solutions. Arsenij Kutirjov19. December, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Was struggling with neck pain for over 4 years, just after few sessions felt massive improvment and pain almoust gone. Tried chiropractors, thai massage and physiotherapy before and nerly lost all hope. Brilliant service! mxmorgan76. December, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Michelle is the absolute best! There are no words to describe how truly wonderful she is. I have had chronic pain for at least 16 years due to being hypermobile, then suffering a car accident as well as other traumas. As a physiotherapist myself I have done everything in my power to try and heal but I was only able to get temporary relief from my symptoms. I also tried osteopathy, chiropractor, CBT, deep tissue massage, gym, pilates, yoga, meditation, dietary changes and even short periods of acupuncture in the past, non of which had any lasting effect. Michelle has been the only one that has been able to finally relieve me of the pain and trauma that was stored deep in my tissues. For the first time in many years I no longer consider myself a ‘chronic pain patient’. I have not felt this good for years! Although, I was never limited functionally, I can now enjoy the martial arts, gymnastics and even simple sitting, without feeling the awful heavy, dragging pain that consumed the last 16 years of my life. Thank you Michelle - you are an angel and I hope my gratitude comes across enough! Ayse Avci1. November, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Michelle is an extremely gifted, and experienced acupuncturist. It was my first time having this kind of treatment and Michelle made me feel at ease. She was capable of finding the underlying root cause of my pain from the initial session, and I found within 3-4 sessions the kind of healing I’d been waiting for for 10-15 years. I had already tried medical solutions, physio, massage, and osteopathy and none had been a successful. Not only did she help with dealing with physical trauma but also psychological relationship to the pain as well as giving advice on how I could continue my healing independently. in addition to helping with physical pains in my neck and back she also healed symptoms I didn’t expect to be treated within the session. Bloating, hormonal pains, and leg circulation issues I was facing. The only regret I have is that I waited this long to have treatment and would recommend her highly to anyone seeking help with pain treatment.
