About Advanced Acupuncture
Expert, Transformative Acupuncture with Michelle Aris
Advanced Acupuncture operates from a clinical space in Ealing, West London.
Founder and advanced acupuncturist Michelle Aris, LLB BSc MBA, has over 16 years of post-graduate clinical experience and training in Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine acupuncture.
Michelle has practised acupuncture continually since she completed her Chinese Medicine Acupuncture degree in 2007, working first at a Japanese spa near Bond Street, then at a busy clinic in Waterloo, before basing herself at her current clinic in Ealing.
After completing a law degree and working in the legal field, Michelle was inspired to study acupuncture through her love of Chinese medicine and martial arts and the theories behind these ancient practices.
Why Choose Acupuncture?
Acupuncture works on the same principles as Qi Gong, which focuses on breath, mind and movement to direct the body’s internal energy flow. Qi Gong has multiple applications, including health, martial arts & spiritual development. It encourages the connection between mind and body for health, well-being and balance.
The practice of acupuncture allows the practitioner to give their patient that same clear and balanced energy flow. Therapeutic acupuncture is delivered in a clinical setting rather than through the physical exercise of Qi Gong, making acupuncture a convenient, comfortable and accessible treatment option.
Generations-Long Acupuncture Knowledge
Advanced acupuncturist Michelle Aris feels very privileged and profoundly grateful to have accessed her deep knowledge of acupuncture through lectures presented by Dr Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th-generation lineage holder and gifted teacher on all aspects of Chinese Medicine.
As part of her life-long commitment to developing her practice of advanced acupuncture, Michelle is proud to continue the tradition of apprenticeship within Chinese medicine by completing mentorship programmes with several renowned teachers within Dr Yuen’s lineage: Ann Cecil-Sterman, Sean Tuten & Dr Hung Tran.
These outstanding teachers strive to preserve the precious gift of Chinese Medicine in its truest form.
The Benefits of Advanced Acupuncture
At Advanced Acupuncture, patients seek help for life-long or chronic physical or emotional pain and other difficulties.
Standard acupuncturists tend to focus on only 14 of the body’s channels. Michelle Aris has trained extensively to offer advanced acupuncture using all 68 channels.
With a deep understanding of all the body’s channels, an advanced acupuncturist can treat severe physical conditions and emotional pain, use acupuncture for spiritual purposes and even work with chronic degenerative diseases.
